interopiO provides a portal where applications can be launched in standalone mode, without the the requirement of being in an EHR setting. This can be beneficial for testing the functionality of applications. A portal can also serve as a preview to Clinical Decision Support coupled with application functionality in an isolated setting.
From the portal, applications can be launched one at a time, with or without a patient in context. These applications would need to be previously registered against a gateway in interopiO's Administrative Console. To read more about registering an application see here.
To sign in to the Provider Portal, a user has to enter an email and password. These credentials are set up by an interopiO administrator on interopiO administrative console. For more details on authentication see here.
After a successful sign in, a user is redirected to the Main Screen, which contains a list of applications available. Depending on whether or not there is a selected patient, the list contains a different set of applications.
The Side Navigation Panel presents the main sections of the Portal. A user can show/hide this panel by clicking the ‘Menu’ button.
